It all started with a simple idea:

to be the best window cleaners in Parksville, Qualicum, and Nanaimo. For the past three years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to making the windows of homes and businesses Shine, becoming a trusted name throughout the Vancouver Island community.

But as time went on, we knew we could do even more to Shine homes.

That’s when we decided to expand into Christmas light installations, bringing joy and festive spirit to homes during the holiday season. While we loved bringing the magic of the holidays to life, we realized it was super inconvenient to be putting up and taking down lights every year

After doing some extensive research, we discovered House trim lighting that caught our attention right away. We were sold. But when we tried to find someone offering it here on Vancouver Island, we came up empty-handed.

As long time entrepreneurs:

Every detail of the installation is crafted to seamlessly integrate with your home’s aesthetic.

It all begins with a pin point color match.

Once you Sign up for you initial quote, we’ll come by to perfectly match your existing soffit color.

With access to over 250 colors, we can virtually guarantee an exact match.

Next, we order your track and lighting components.

The wiring and fixtures are cleverly concealed within the track, which is then secured into the bottom lip of your fascia on one side and attached to the soffit with color-matched screws on the other.

This creates a wire-free, invisible by day and shining by night house.

We connect all the systems using seamless tracking along with data jumps—a wiring harness that allows us to transfer data and power between rooflines, typically concealed within the soffit when transitioning from a straight line to a pitched roof.

When connecting different rooflines—such as for second or third levels where the rooflines don’t meet—we use color-matched loom and strategically hide it in discreet locations, like behind a downspout or tucked into the corner trim of the siding.
